Right after the cease of the Second World War the public commenced to think that the world’s basic rules are understandable and coherent . Both global politics and social relations were depending on the concepts of gain , good changes , trust in the logical , understanding , technical advancement , and the knowledge of how to explain any happening from a rational standpoint . However , beginning from the second half of the 60’s, the world began to degrade and currently , 40 years later , we live in a new type of existence .

The core of the future adjustment was first found by those people, who more often than not lived anteceding their time – poets and authors. Among the many authors whose masterpieces have served for amusement , there have been several of them who have given the humankind a new picture of the future . They have better than others other authors formed and formulated authentic thoughts and have finally molded a new intellectual and emotional analysis of the future. They have noted issues in the mundane of our lives and have opened a set of problems, which were dragging on without being noticed . They have aided us to think of the new issues , and have given us new ambitions .
These were the authors who have shaped the mindset of the entire generation, which has observed the period of cardial change; change, which was viewed as mayhem at the dawn of the 21 first century. The achievement of Joan Rowling can be considered unique as she has found herself to be the first writer in the world to earn $1 billion by authoring fairytales. She is today spending a huge part of her earnings on charity, battling poverty and illness. The plot of the book was found while she was on the train from Manchester to London. When the publisher has first decided to bring out her book, she has awarded her 1500 pounds together with a friendly advice — to find a permanent job. He was unaware of the idea that the young writer would be able to make money of writing books. Joann has showed the opposite - having created a series of unparalleled fairytales, she has motivated the so-called non-reading people get back to reading.
This paper cannot name and more or less accurately list all writers who have given their contribution to the nowadays literature. They have been writing and bringing ideas exactly into the minds of the people, and thus were shaping the future. Thus, as we can see, these authors were not writing for relaxation only, but they were also playing a considerable part in molding the culture and the views of a society of the 20th century.
